Analysis of Leather Oils Part II Characterisation and Analysis of Natural and Synthetic Oils
Abstract
A method is described for the examination, separation and identification of commercially available fatliquors and grease extracted from leather by organic solvents. The uses of infra-red spectroscopy and gas-liquid chromatography in oil analysis are outlined together with a brief description of the theory.
