Abstract

Comprehensive experiments of the reaction between sulpho-syntans and collagen were carried out and the parameter of sulpho-group binding calculated from experimentally measured data. From the value of this parameter, the polyelectrolyte complex formation was verified and hence, the polyelectrolyte theory of reaction between sulpho-syntans and collagen was demonstrated.
