SLTC 2027 CONFERENCE 23rd-24th APRIL – SAVE THE DATE
Abstract
Laboratory scale experiments were carried out to test the efficiency of the extracellular proteases from the culture filtrate of Streptomyces spp. G157 as a bate. A comparative study was carried out with the commercially available bate. Visual assessment, and microscopic analysis revealed that the extracellular proteases from the culture filtrate of Streptomyces spp. G157 were more efficient than the commercially available bate. Physical testing data indicated that it did not have any adverse effect on the properties of the leather.
