Determination Of PO4-P In Tannery Effluent By Reverse Reference Flow Injection

Abstract

Reverse reference flow injection analysis (rFIA) was proposed to determine PO4-P in tannery effluent combined with phosphorus antimony molybdenum blue photometry (deoxidized reagent is L-ascorbic acid). The result showed that, under the optimal conditions, good linear work curve with high sensitivity and broad linear range was obtained with this method to determine PO4-P. The linear ranges were 6 x 10-4-6 x 10-2 and 6 x 10-2-5mg/l, the detection limit of this method was 0.18μg/l, and relative standard deviation (RSD) of 3.03% (n = 11) was obtained by injecting a standard solution with 10μg/l PO4-P. This method was used to analyze the PO4-P in tannery effluent with recovery ranging from 96.0% to 97.8%.
