Determination Of The Aluminium Content Of Basic Aluminium Chloride By FIA
Abstract
To determine the content of aluminium in basic aluminium chloride, the FIA method was developed using CASEthanol- Hexamine. The reagent was mixed with the sample solution in the reaction coil, and the absorbance of the coloured complex was measured at 525 nm. The recoveries of samples were in the range of 91.4% – 106.8%, the relative standard deviation was 0.563%. The method was rapid, simple and convenient, and can be applied to the determination of Al(III) in varied samples.
