The Use Of Acoustic Emission To Detect Grain Crack During The Lastometer Test
Abstract
Research has been carried out to evaluate the use of acoustic emission studies on leather. Unlike other research this technique reported here describes the measurement of sound in the audible range. Using the technique it has been possible to construct a system to detect the grain crack that occurs during the lastometer test. The technology has been patented.
