Abstract

Factors influencing the quality of environment in the leather industry in Croatia, have been reviewed. At the moment. Croatia has six large factories, four medium and a number of small manufacturers, which have not adequately solved the issue of effluent treatment. Details regarding leather processing and conse quent pollution in Croatia and individual tanneries are shown in the report.
