Objective Evaluation Of Leather Handle With Artificial Neural Networks
Abstract
The three problems of the current methods for the objective evaluation of leather handle are analysed and as an alternative, a new approach with artificial neural networks is proposed. This case study, demonstrates that the new approach is capable of handling non-linear relationships among multiple parameters of leather physical properties, and satisfying the preferences of leather handle. More importantly, it could be used to objectively evaluate the handle of different types and different substances of leather.
