The Simultaneous Diffusion Of Heat And Moisture In Leather: Part II
Abstract
Simultaneous diffusion of heat and moisture has been studied in slabs of leather with faces impermeable to vapor. Initially, the slab was at one temperature and one moisture content, and diffusion was started by raising the temperature of one face and keeping it constant. Experimental results were in fairly satisfactory agreement with those predicted by diffusion theory. Various other similar cases were also investigated experimentally, and the results are shown graphically.
