New Home for the JSLTC Back Catalogue

With the closure of the Museum of Leathercraft in Northampton, and the transfer of the collections to the custodianship of the Leather Conservation Centre, SLTC is delighted to confirm the relocation of our Society Journal Back Catalogue to a new home in Leicester. On 12th June 2025, our President, Deborah Taylor met the Head of Centre, Rosie Bolton and Gillian Proctor, from De Montfort University to get an advance look at the new home and studio space for the Leather Conservation Centre in Leicester. It is going to be a fabulous location for conserving leather’s heritage and we’ll keep you all posted when everything has been moved in over the next couple of weeks.
