Based on the grey system theory, this paper analyzes the comprehensive influence of the quality parameters of sheep leather on the moisture permeability of different parts of sheep leather. The differences in specific surface area and average pore size of sheepskin in different parts were analyzed, and the grey correlation analysis between the three influencing parameters and the moisture permeability of sheepskin in different parts was carried out. The study found that the specific surface area and average pore size of sheep skin in different parts were different. The specific surface area of sheep skin in different parts was ranked as follows: belly > back > neck > hip, and the average pore size was ranked as follows: neck > back > belly > hip. Through the comprehensive analysis of grey correlation, it is found that the order of influence of quality parameters on the moisture permeability of natural sheepskin is: average pore size > thickness > specific surface area.
