Abstract

The microcrystalline diethylaminoethyl cellulose anion exchanger DE32 in the sulphate form, used in the analysis of mimosa bark and extract, gives results equivalent to those obtained with hide powder of good quality. The reagent may be regenerated many times without loss of analytical precision. DE32 is a readily available synthetic product of standard quality and is used in the dry form involving no dilution factor.
