Large quantities of waste chrome leather shavings are produced during the tanning process. Recycling waste chrome shavings is carried out in a clean, simple, low-consumption manner inspired by the technology of solid wood particle board in the furniture industry, thus making high value products. This paper prepared bonded leather (BL) using CR adhesive and a vulcanising machine, the BL prepared had good gas permeability, water absorption, and adequate tensile strength, the optimal hot-pressing conditions and formulae used were: (1) latex ratio 20%, 70°C, 5 minutes and 3MPa; (2) latex ratio 23%, 80°C, 4 minutes and 3MPa; (3) latex ratio 18%, 80°C, 5 minutes and 6MPa.
