Abstract

Following the results of our research group, the moisture absorption and moisture permeability tester for finished shoes, which is described here, is considered systematically and the composition of the instrument system is defined. The conception of the system and structure of the moisture absorption and transmission tester for finished shoes and the optimisation of the design of the tester is described. The main performance parameters of the moisture absorption and moisture transmission tester for finished shoes were set, and the method adopted to characterise the results was designed. At the same time, to ensure the stability and reliability of the tester, tests to verify the finished shoes’ moisture absorption and moisture permeability tester were carried out, which work provides data support for the overall design of the finished shoes’ moisture absorption and moisture permeability tester.
