Abstract

The relationship between some of the chemical characteristics and important physical characteristics of vegetable tanned Indian buffalo hides is studied. Samples from both the butt and back regions are taken up for the studies to arrive at definite conclusions. Systematic analysis of the data obtained are carried out and then correlations are illustrated through graphs.
