Abstract

The parameter of sulpho-group binding is defined as a variable characterising the number of bonds of Coulomb’s type formed. A physico-mathematical model is derived that facilitates the calculation of this parameter on an experimental basis. The parameter value provides an opportunity to decide whether or not a polyelectrolyte complex is formed during the interaction and whether or not the necessary conditions of polyionic network formation are fulfilled.
